Tom is a creative writer and atypical thinker with years of involvement with copywriting, marketing, fiction writing, screenwriting and filmmaking.
With a year of hitchhiking around the US and a degree in philosophy, Tom has one foot on the ground and one in the creative metaverse. He’s lived in New York, Providence, and LA and has been involved with endless creative endeavors including screenwriting, fiction, ghostwriting, marketing, commercials bartending, house painting and filmmaking. Not necessarily in that order.
He’s written numerous screenplays, original as well as work-for-hire, and he’s sold or optioned numerous projects to producers over time. More recently he’s begun directing and his feature film The Ascent is near completion.
Tom regularly works with Mission Control Group as a creative and copywriter, and he is the co-creator of MC’s 2014 Addy Award winning “Where Movie Lovers Belong” campaign and won other awards with the team at MCG. Tom writes treatments for commercial directors, helping explain their vision to prospective clients with clarity and sensitivity. He also writes voiceover copy for TV and radio spots, creates copy for websites, always focused on the story and needs of each client. He enjoys writing fiction in his spare time.
Have written over 60 feature length and TV formatted scripts. Sold or optioned many of these projects.
Wrote or co-wrote numerous scripts-for-hire, working for producers, adapting their ideas/stories into screenplays. Samples available upon request.

Wrote and directed The Ascent, feature-length supernatural thriller film currently in post-production.
Where Movie Lovers Belong Campaign. Co-created this Addy Award winning campaign for ArcLight Cinemas, which brought together social media influencers such as Smosh with traditional celebs like Stan Lee to recreate favorite movie scenes for ArcLight Cinemas.
International Fund for Animal Welfare. “Cats, Dogs and Us.” Educational film for children in over 25 nations that bridges cultural attitudes for cats and dogs and helps overcome negative ideas about these animals for the benefit of all. Reached over five million children.
#MyArcLight Contest. Co-created the social media campaign for ArcLight Cinemas where fans recreated their favorite movie scenes to win a Lifetime Pass from ArcLight Cinemas. Radio and TV personalities worked as judges and also created their own movie photo magic.
Tom is an indispensable asset at Mission Control Group. We don’t start concepting a campaign without having our “head of all creative" in the room.
Tom's input as a writer and creative has been invaluable on numerous occasions, and we enjoy working with him at those times when we need a fresh perspective.
Tom took a mass of pedagogical information about companion animals around the world and brilliantly weaved it into a story that not only does its primary job of education, but entertains the viewer, connecting them on a personal level while never realizing that they are learning. We’ve been making these videos for the Animal Action Education program for 15 years. Cats, Dogs, and Us is by far the best of the lot. It is due to Tom’s mastery of craft and mastery of story.
